EMST(Energy Management Systems Testing)

Have your building needs changed?

Have tenants migrated through?

Has it been longer than 3 years since your last tune-up?

Have you changed the proverbial oil on your investment?

ITestedIt (ITI) believes in the hands on approach to greening up your building.  We'll have it balanced, calibrated and "commissioned" at the same time.  Using standard procedures, guidelines, and recommended practices as determined by the fine folks at NEBB, AABC, SMACNA, ASHRAE, LEED, and the efforts of many others, we can get your HVAC system tuned and ready to get you going green.  With our staff of dedicated indivuduals who have worked with many of the locally represented control systems we can even help streamline the operation of code if that's what it takes.  ITestedIt strives to create an environment that keeps everything working while at the same time dramatically reducing system operating costs.

The objective of ITI is to ensure building mechanical systems and equipment are installed in accordance with your design documents, and that they operate as intended. Your building mechanical systems will be fully operational and will operate at as close to design as possible by performing functional performance testing throughout the entire mechanical systems processes.

ITI uses a systematic process through which the heating and ventilation systems of a facility are analyzed for proper design, equipment installation, and whole-system functionality. Performing this process retro-active on existing facilities that have not previously been balanced, commissioned, or calibrated in accordance with design criteria, or at least three years have lapsed since the last Test and Balance has taken place is critical to ensure optimal performance is being achieved.  As an EMST company we start by cooperatively developing strategies that can work within existing maintenance budgets and that help identify significant benefits to you, namely improved energy efficiency and occupant satisfaction with the indoor air environment.

Multi-million dollar properties fail to meet some of the basic operation parameters as set forth by design engineers.  Yet at the same time owners will look to something "new" that will "work better".  In reality you most likely need a visit by a dedicated individual or individuals who have you and your building needs, requirements and budget at the forefront of thought, with the expertise to get it done.

In our approach to achieving a green outcome it is our objective to provide low-cost/no-cost solutions to a variety of building mechanical systems.

  • We strive to provide solutions that don't require wasted time and money to resolve.
  • We focus in on operational changes, precision calibration and minor repairs to address the majority of issues that most building mechanical systems face.  In fact most repairs will be performed by our staff using your current inventory of repair parts.
  • We also take a "human" approach to the process, that is, understanding problems from the standpoint of the building occupants and operators alike.

Benefits of using www.ITestedIt.com

Our projects will demonstrate significant financial benefits to our clients in the form of reduced energy consumption, lower maintenance and overhead costs, elimination of indoor air quality problems, and improved occupant comfort.

Building systems performing — Like New or better than New, in most cases like never before, as designed.

Changing occupant needs, space management, building tenant improvements, and obsolete or malfunctioning mechanical systems play havoc with your building systems efficiencies and cause significant occupant complaints. Faultering mechanical system issues artificially inflate energy and maintenance costs and make facilities less attractive to new and existing occupants.

Avoid these problems and improve your bottom line by investing in a process that will typically pay for itself in less than a year.
